Siam Tara is a gorgeous resort in northern Thailand, providing a peaceful retreat with beautiful views of Laos across the Mekong River. The owners, John and Jam, are incredibly accommodating and ensure you have a fantastic stay. The large pool is perfect for relaxation, and I enjoyed several wonderful meals during my visit. However, while the resort boasts great amenities, some areas might benefit from a little refresh to keep things looking pristine.

My stay at this resort was absolutely delightful. The owners, John and Jam, really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. I loved the beautiful pool and the stunning views across the Mekong River to Laos. The meals were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The mornings brought marvelous sunrises and I enjoyed some fantastic birdwatching. However, the resort is a bit far from the main town, which may not be ideal for everyone.
